When staying at Tea & Experience, the leaf-to-cup experience is a must-do. Start your tea tour in Sri Lanka with our factory manager in the tea plantations with the tea pluckers. and learn from them how to pluck the tea and bring them back to the factory. Here you will get an interactive tour from our factory manager that will take you through the process of the leaf that includes withering, rolling, roll breaking, fermenting, drying, grading, and packing. We encourage our guests to interact and help in the process. Before you finish, our factory manager will host a tea-tasting session for you

Trek to Pichchamal Ella
The perfect way to discover the stunning region, this walk will take you through an authentic tea estate, stunning views, and a beautiful waterfall. Start from the hotel, traverse the village of Kabaragalla and walk through the tea fields with a lovely view of the valley to one side and the Piduruthalagala Forest Reserve to the other. After around 3.5 KM, reach the foot of the falls, where there are around 10 meters that are a little tricky with a few rocks that need to be traversed which can be slightly challenging for those with mobility issues. Once on top and at the waterfall, dip your feet in the cool water and enjoy the fresh mist from the falls that follows from the mysterious-looking forest. After you are refreshed, return to the hotel along the lovely tea estate pathway.
